Reverend Willie J. Young

Reverend Willie J. Young is the president of the Claiborne Parish chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Homer, Louisiana. Since the police shooting of a local unarmed man, Young has been an advocate for the family and legal due process in the case against the officers involved. "The grand jury made their decision. It's not one I agree with, but I have to accept it," said Young at New Hope Baptist Chuch after the officers were acquitted. "We will continue to fight for justice in the avenues left to us."
