River Man

Mike Gamble has lived on the Missouri River just east of Cooper's Landing since the early 1980's. He had to rebuild his home after the flood of 1993, but nothing has diminished his love for living on the water. "It's one of the prettiest places on earth," says Gamble. During warmer months he fishes and takes long walks with his dogs Max (pictured) and Mandy. "It's like being on vacation everyday."
