Garage Fire

Boone County Fire Chief Tom Putnam opens the hood of a car that caught fire in the garage at 1722 El Chaparral Ave on February 12, 2008. Five trucks and over 30 firefighters responded to the scene where witnesses say several explosions were heard. The fire department speculates household cleaners and solvent cans exploded after they were consumed by the flames.
